When you contact us through email or our social media accounts, we store your personal information to provide you with prompt feedback regarding your queries.

When you use our services
We are making our services available to those individuals who sign up for our web-based Dashboard. At LaserFocus, we are connecting accounts across the globe, starting off with a limited number of countries. You can enroll to use LaserFocus’ services by filling in your email in the signup form on our website. We may collect your first and last name, email address.

Usage data is collected while using the platform. This may include information such as your device’s internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser region, the pages of the service you use, the time, date and length of your visit and other simple diagnostic data.

Storage and Retention of your Data

LaserFocus will retain your Personal Data for only as long as is required for the purposes set out in this policy. We will only use this data for the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies. Usage data will be retained for internal analysis purposes. This is generally stored for a shorter period of time, except when used to strengthen the security or improve the functionality of our service, or when legally required.

At LaserFocus, we strive to keep adequate measures in place, be that physical, technical or operational to protect your data from unauthorised access, use and disclosure. We have deployed our technology using secure cloud computing services from our development provider Bubble as well as Amazon Web Services & Google. We have strict guidelines for LaserFocus personnel with access to your data complying with GDPR best practices and information security.

Personal Data Retention

This data is retained on the system on the basis that if a user fails to log in to the platform for a period of 90 days, a series of 3 emails will be sent to the user. These will contain a link to allow the user to access the platform, and an option to opt out. The user is not required to log into their LaserFocus account.

Clicking on the link and visiting the page will reset an inactive timer. In the event that all 3 of these emails are unanswered, the user will no longer receive communication until 12 months after which period they will receive one final reminder. 90 days after this, all data will be deleted from the LaserFocus system in its entirety, including backups.

Who Do We Share Your Data With?

Your information, including personal data, is processed at the company’s operating offices or in other places where the processing parties are located. This means that information may be transferred to, and maintained on computers outside of our own, but only where strictly necessary.In these instances, the company will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this policy. No transfer of your personal data will take place to any organisation unless there are adequate controls in place, including but not limited to data security.

We will never sell your personal data to any third party. We will never hand over your personal data unless required by law enforcement.

You can reach out to us to correct any inaccurate data we hold about you. You also always have the right to withdraw consent you have given us.
